宇田川町といえばレコード屋さんがある場所で知られレコードを買い漁っていた頃はよく行ってました。
レコード、カセット、MD、CD、デジタル音源と段々と音楽メディアが変わるにつれ閉店になったお店がありました。
有名所でシスコレコード店だったりとショックを受けた憶えがあります。
そんな中、今でも良質とセンスのある唯一のお店がギネスレコード。
丁度マンハッタンレコードの隣のビルの一室にあります。
オープンしたての頃は、他のレコード店よりも価格が安くシングルレコードを販売していてそれが切っ掛けで入ったのが始まり。
価格だけでなくオーナーのセンスあるサンプリングネタのヴァイナルが沢山あってアンダーグラウンドのレコードもあって他のお店ではあまりみないレアな音源の揃えに共感したことを憶えています。
少し前にブレイクしたnujabes名義で出したエンジニアと多才な才能あるお店でも今は知られているようです。
当時は本人が店内でセンス良く選曲していたのもまた珍しい姿だったのかな？

それから何年もお店には足を運び今ではお店のマスターFKさんにいつもリコメンドしていただいています。
心地よい空間と見やすいディスプレイと視聴もできるのでレコードをお探しの方にもオススメです。視聴ができるいえばMUTEKIレコードってあったなあ。

話しは長くなりましたが、今回はそこで視聴しして良かった音源をランキング形式で紹介します。
